Congratulations to the fantastic Cadence VEX IQ Team!

Congratulations to the fantastic Coral Academy Cadence Campus  VEX IQ Team and their Coach Mr. Shiver! 

 

We are happy to announce that VEX IQ Middle School teams performed well in their second qualifier events this weekend.

 

VEX IQ Team 20058b: Bionic Eagles was awarded the Judges Award & has qualified to compete in State. The team made some major improvements in their overall performance when compared to their last event. Team 20058b placed 12th out of 30 competing teams in the alliance teamwork rounds, which qualified them for Eliminations! During this high-pressure round, the students placed 5th among the competing teams. Finally, Team 20058b is currently ranked  612 in World Skills out of 2999 competing teams. What a great improvement! I can't wait to see how they perform in the State Competition!

 

Also special mention to team 20058a: Robotic Eagles. They managed to make a lot of improvements in the second round of competition. Team 20058a placed 16th out of 30 competing teams and placed 7th in the Elimination Round. Hopefully, team 20058a will also qualify for State. 

 

It was really nice to see that both Cadence teams this time around have made it into the Eliminations. 

 

Both of our teams placed in the top 10 out of 30 competing teams in the World Skills Challenges at the event...

 

20058a: Robotic Eagles got 5th place,

20058b: Bionic Eagles got 7th place.
